Hi there Gunny (and everyone!!)
After reading your mail on Dr. Brucker and his research, I am wondering
here. As I was diagnosed, treated and recovered 39 years ago. My neurologist
must have been a special man, although the team of doctors that were on my
case all were in an agreement, that "I'd never walk again"..........he told me
to go be a kid. I was NEVER given any drugs at all. I just went home and
being 9 yrs. old, hearing my friends play outside (it was summer).........and
my attempts to eat more chocolate cookies..........I retrained my brain!!! <<
Most
Neurologists are aware of this, and those that are will tell you so. >> He had
most of the beliefs Gunny just spoke of and I remember him being honest to me,
as I always had a paper full of questions with me at my appointments. He was
my favorite doctor then and after reading what Gunny has
written.........sounds like he was a head of his time, an avante-garde!
He told me it was all up to me, whatever I wanted..... I could do. I now have
the utmost regard for him!!
Thanks Gunny for your info. Something I have believed in all my life, due to
Dr. Eulle. (Sorry, I don't remember if that is how his name was spelled.) It
was prounounced "yule" tho.
