I'm just back from hospital, the 10th time solumedrol IV. I started the first time with 5 times 1000mg, now the last time it was 4 times 500. The neurologist think that it better works as tablets. And it still does work. Every time after two weeks I get my stregth back and I am able to walk again a little distance.
Now something else. Two years before TM the first signes took place, stange feeling in my feet, cold feet, stiff feeling in my legs, that sometimes last a week other times a few month. Also that time I had problems reading a newspaper. I was 42 then, so it could be the age. My arms are still long enough and it get not worse. My wife thinks I am a fool to go on like this, maybe I am, want admit that I become 45 at the end of the year.
Question for all of you, did anyone had also problems with there eyes. Just after Solumedrol it improves a little, but my neurologist says that he knows nothing about a connection with TM. I was tested for MS and it was negative that time. He knows about the group, and read some of our stories and suggested to ask it here. As group of almost 1000 persons we are representive, I think.
