To show negligence you have to prove that the delay in treatment
made your symptoms worse and that is difficult to prove. The dr you sue
will bring an expert to say that the treatment you missed would not have
necessarily made your symptoms better. Some people improve after getting
the iv steriods and others don't. Of course you could bring in an expert to
say the symptoms would have improved. So it's a battle of the experts.
Also, expect the lawsuit to drag on for years and it will take a lot of your
time and energy to persue it. Good luck.

> PS my regular local Neurologist [i received a second confirming diagnosis at
>the St Agnes hospital for Multiple Sclerosis in White Plains NY] said that
>full recovery is expected considering my progress, after 1 year and 5 months,
>but if ever any symptoms were to begin to reappear i should immediately seek
>therapy with prednisone as this was what stopped the progress of the disease,
>and allowed the delayed healing to occur; i was on prednisone only 3 months.

>obvious paralysis or restrictions in my gait.
