Here is the cover letter I had in my jacket pocket that described Dr.
Brucker. I thought this might be of interest.

BERNARD S. BRUCKER. Ph. D.

Dr. Bernard S. Brucker is an associate Professor in the Departments of
Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, Psychiatry, and Neurological Surgery, at the
University of Miami School of Medicine. He is a psychologist who has been a
leader in the field of rehabilitation and is currently Chief of the Division
of Psychology, and Director of the Biofeedback Laboratories and Functional
Electrical Stimulation Program, at the University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial
Medical Center. He is the past president of the Division of Rehabilitation
Psychology of the American Psychological Association and the recent past
chairman of the Head and Spinal Cord Injury Advisory Council, for the State of
Florida, Dr. Brucker is currently Vice President of the American Board of
Rehabilitation Psychology. Dr. Brucker has received the Gil Moss Award from
the National Spinal Cord Injury Association for outstanding scientific and
clinical contribution to spinal cord injury, the Exceptional Achievement Award
from the Institute of Electrical Engineers, for microprocessor control of
movement in paralyzed muscle, and the lifetime achievement award for the dade
County Chapter of the Florida Psychological Association. Dr. Brucker is one of
the founders, and the original co-director of the Miami Project to cure
Paralysis. He is world renowned for developing specific behavioral procedures
for restoring function in people with physical disabilities. He is on the
Editorial Board of the Journal of Rehabilitation Psychology, and has numerous
publications, chapters, and presentations at scientific meetings.

You had to hear and see this man. I'm sure, in fact it never crossed my
mind, but I'm sure he would show up in Seattle if need be, then you could all
see and hear what I did. Here, folks, finally, is something promising. Sandy,
Pauline, Deanne, let me know what you want to do. I can get ahold of him, and
I'm sure he'd come.
