I am a fan of ER, and Chicago Hope. Since learning about TM and reading about
Jim Lubin's story, I thought what a great episode that would make as well as
create better awareness about the disease. Especially since it appears there
is not a good awareness of it in the medical community. Every now and then,
they have one of the actors after the show, out of character, give some
information about the disease. I will have to figure out how to e-mail the
network and give them this information. Not only would it be great for the
writers to see this chat room exists for people with TM, but maybe it would
inspire other people with other disabilitating diseases to create rooms for
emotional support.
