We each respond differently to drugs-I tried neurontin and walking got worse, lots of falls so came off. Tegretol helps spasticity and pain (for me) and the addition of Klonipin may help for the pain also. My pain is much like yours at times. Beclafin is great for spasms-I've not used it. My advice would be to pick what troubles you most, start with one agent at a time and give it a bit (if you can) before adding another agent, so if you have side effects, you know what's causing it. Tegretol or neuronyin may help both spasticity and the pain. Are you on steroids, or did they help?
