I am sorry!
I cant help but say that I think just because there is one bad apple in the
bunch doesnt mean it has to spoil the rest! I hope this event doesnt deter
others from picking up the phone and reaching out to those of us who truly
need assistance, and someone to relate to and share our experiences, as well
as our triumps!
I know that when I attempt to walk down the street, I may look funny, or
different. When I roll down the street, I may get stared at. children whisper
what is wrong with her mommy. Others may kindly hold the door for me at the
shopping mall, but most hurry on, afraid I might be contagious!
It is ignorance of our society to cast out those of us that are different. I
dont ask for sympathy. I dont ask for them to be my friend. I Know that I
may look different on the ouside, on the inside all I pray for is there
exceptance.
She lost the rare opportunity, a chance of a lifetime, for one of gods angels
came calling, and she closed the door!
I wrote this poem with my husband for our anniversary, but I would like to
share it with all of you, I think it has a greater meaning than just love.
Now remember I only do this for myself................ I didnt give up my day
job!
Take a moment,
Listen,
Hear me speak,
Not with you ears,
but with your soul.
Each breathe I take,
Every thought created,
I see myself in you.
Through your very existence.
Listen with your Heart,
For if you listen with your ears,
You'll never hear how much
I love you.
