Pat,

I was interested to read your post. Bill's cancer isn't related to
the spine, at least not that we know of--it is only prostate. But they
said he might not be able to withstand surgery. He wonders how they got
that he might not withstand surgery--whether it is age (63) or whether
it is simply being in the wheelchair, or whether it is the tm. I even
wonder, to myself, if the VA people have enough knowledge of tm to
coordinate the two things--the tm and the cancer. But of course, they
will be sending him out to a separate cancer center.

We will be thinking about you, Pat,....and just wanted to say your
post was very interesting to us--what they said about possibility of
triggering another attack. I can't even imagine--some of the choices
for cancer treatment - what you can eat and not eat, and then to combine
a special diet in with neurontin, baclofen, motrin, milk of magnesia,
and his upcoming lower GI---all of that together sounds like something
else!! We will be praying for you, Pat, anyway!!!
