They pushed her surgery back a couple of hours so before I leave to be with
her I wanted to remind everyone not to take anything of value to the
Hospital. Also if you have anyone that come into your house to help you,
besides family, please get all of your valuables out of the house. Is why
I'm telling you this is that Mom wore her earrings to the hospital and
wanted to keep them on, since the chemo has left her with no hair, and that
was one way for her to feel like a lady. Well the earrings are no were to be
found. We have 24hr. care for her at home and now that she is back into the
hospital and know one is at her house I went to take all her jewelry to the
safety deposit box. We had hidden her rings and necklaces in one place and
the bracelets in another. Needless to say the bracelets are missing and know
I have to deal with the police and insurance co. I hate telling you this
because it sounds like everything I tell you is bad and it seems like we are
having such a bad time of it, I really don't mean it to come out that way.
My Mother and I really are very fortunate people. Thanks Kathleen
