Hi all!

I've been giving some thought to this thing. In doing so, several things
come to mind. TM does affect
each of us differently, and perhaps Mr. Ketchem's case was one of the
"light" ones with a quick
recovery. If so, I am glad for him. In the total context of his life,
perhaps it IS no big thing, and
something he's gone on from. Please remember that has been the story for
many of this group. We
should allow him that without anger if so.We should allow him to go on in
any case, and not force
him into our perception of what the experience is or should be. You can't
force a spokesperson. It
has to come from the heart.I wish him good luck and a continued recovery,
and like everyone else,
we can be here for him if he needs us.

As re: the directors of TMA, let's remember it's a VOLUNTEER organization
with all the resources that means-namely few to none-just getting going. I
think that issue's been thoroughly discussed- I just wanted to say thanks
to them. I know I have days without the energy to even turn on the
computer, let alone frame a coherent reply..thanks for what you do when you
can do!

I am also wondering why we need "our own Chris Reeve." Chris Reeve is doing
wonderful things for
ALL the spinal cord injured, and the research he is urging to be funded
will benefit us as well. Perhaps
we just need to be sure that we are included on his list of beneficiaries.

Just a few of my thought-take 'em or leave 'em :)
::hands the vent to the next in line::
