Joel,

Here was my original response I sent to Gunny yesterday. I meant to send it
to the list too but somehow it only went to Gunny. He and I have exchanged
many e-mails today regarding this. Everyone of the TMA officers take our
position seriously. I can't even begin to tell you all the work these people
have put in. The next newsletter was just copied and will be sent soon. As I
mention in the e-mail below, over 65% of the members are not on the internet.
We will be in contact with Dr. Kerr soon. Here is the original message sent:

Thank you Gunny for such a good idea on including Dr. Kerr in TMA and TMIC
activities. Unfortunately, Deanne Gilmur (the TMA President) is unavailable
to meet at the moment. With Deanne unavailable, I cannot commit on behalf of
all the TMA officers as to whether Dr. Kerr should be on the Medical Advisory
Board.

I can say that we are open to anyone offering assistance to the TMA and TMIC.
Please provide me his full name, address, and phone number so that we may
contact him directly. If he is willing to speak at the conference in Seattle,
write future articles, etc. wonderful. I know you offer his services but we
would like to see exactly what he is willing to agree to. It will be
necessary for an officer to contact him to pursue the depth of his interest
and commitment.

Keep in mind we would like to have the Medical Advisory Board be able to
address every member in the TMA through articles, newsletters, internet, etc.
As of now, more than 65% of our current members are not on the internet.

Thanks again for your ideas. Please forward Dr. Kerr's information and
hopefully we will have a new Advisor aboard soon!

Thanks,
Paula
