I had a back surgery recently for reduce my chronic pain after spinal cord
injury
and I began to feel like a belt was tightly drawn around my waist. :-(
Dose anyone know more about that? I need some input!
Any information would be appreciate.

That is called the "girdle" effect or feeling. I know it is common after the
spinal cord has been affected, but I don't know what to tell you to do about
it. :( For some people it fades away over time; for others it stays. I have
it very mildly and it comes and goes. I hope someone will be able to tell you
more.
