I'm so glad you found us. I found this list within a few months after
diagnosis, and it has meant a lot to me -- I can't imagine going nearly 40
years without knowing anyone else with TM. I haven't actually met anyone with
TM yet, either, in person, but some of the folks on this list I feel I know
well. They are a great gang.
Your story was so interesting! I'm sure even less was known about TM in 1959
than now. Sounds like you have a wonderful, supportive family and a lot of
determination. (Hey -- you've even proved that chocolate chip cookies are
medically healthy!!) :-)
I, too, had a great deal of difficulty walking downhill. Haven't tried it in a
while, so don't know how I'd do now.
