Dear Phil from WV:
Could you tell me more on the law that was passed for volunteers to help
with hc parking violations. I sure would like to see a law passed like that
in Florida.

I sure will tell you more and appreciate your interest.
This new law allows residents of the state,to volunteer for the hc parking
enforcement program. Applicants are screened,interviewed,accepted,instructed
and provided with a citation book. Copies of citation goes to vehicle and to
police dept. The police dept handles it from there and keeps me provided with
a computer printout of offender's registration plate numbers(updated daily).
Brevard county,Fla. expressed lots of interest in the program and requested
info. I sent details in July and I believe they are getting a lawmaker to
write and sponsor legislation. It is a good program.
