I was given solumedrol IV drip for five days then the
prednisone in decreasing amounts. It worked for me.
The girdle feeling will finally go away--I cannot remember
how long I had it but it diminished with time.
I would not look at a time line as to when you will back to
life as it was--no one can tell you when or IF! You must be
positive and willing to work hard to regain as much as you
can. Life does go on and all of us are living with tm as part
of our lives and the lives of our families.
Remember that we are all in this together and are willing to
answer your questions anytime. Also you must remember
that this disease is an individual thing--all of us have some
of the same problems but none of all us has the same. We can
answer only what we can relate to--but there's always some-
one of us that knows what you are going through.
