I don't know exactly what a 5 course solumedrol or however
you said that, but I was given 5 days of 1000 units solumedrol
IV when I was first diagnosed. The plasma exchange was sug-
gested if the steroid didn't work They also stated that the steroid
wouldn't work for GB, that if they diagnosed GB my only choice
at that time was the plasma exchange.
I don't know what all you are doing in the 'holistic' realm but I have
not yet accepted the idea that tm can be 'cured' without aid from
the medical profession. My attitude is kinda--if the Lord provided
us with the ability to make a medical profession to help us, why
wouldn't I use every bit of help they could provide? I am not say-
ing that I don't think that we can help ourselves with a positive
mind set and the help of other people, I'm just saying that my idea
is to get all the help I can.
