The neurosurgeon and I are old buddys. Those of you who have heard my
story before may remember that they ended up doing a biopsy of the
myelin to rule out metastized breast cancer when they first discovered
the placque. Most of my problems are the result of that surgery. This
is a totally different kind of procedure, but I'm not thrilled with the
idea of them mucking about in my neck again.
I just called my primary physicians office to get a authorization for
the neurosurgeon. I'll keep you posted.
(By the way, I asked the neuro about my experience with the dentist and
the gas alleviating the tingling. He said that it made absolute sense,
since the gas deadens the nervous system. He didn't offer to put me on
gas full time though - LOL)
