Hi Jim
My grandson is the one who has TM since Jan. !998. He is paralzed from the
waist down. He is almost 16. Since Jan. I have been with him everyday, his
grandfather also.
There are many problems that I am working on that need to be resolved. No one
seems to know the what Physcial Therapy will really bring movement of the legs
back. A doctor gives the Physcial Therapist exercises to be admisistered, who
says he or she is doing the proper prcedure. We need a Code of Ethical
Practice for the Physcial Therapist. Medical insurance Companies are also a
deterent with getting the prper care. TM is just one of the illness that
needs direction and help through out our country.
We also need to see more publicity in the news media for the handicapped
people. they are forgotten. Jim, Why wait for next yeat Seattle, at this
moment things should ge statred to adocate more interest for every handicapped
person.
