PHOENIX, Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/-- "Have you sprayed your vitamins today?" That's
the question that an increasing number of people around the world are asking,
thanks to KareMor(R) International, Inc. The Phoenix-based Company has become
a pioneer in the healthcare industry, producing a full line of vitamin and
herbal supplement products administered through their patented oral spray
delivery system.
Vitamist(R) spray vitamins represent a paradigm shift in the multi-million
dollar supplementation industry. Efficient, safe and effective, many health
care professionals are calling spray supplements the future of nutrition.
Since its inception in 1993, KareMor has grown at a rate that rivals many
Fortune 500 companies. Starting with a mere handful of distributors, the
KareMor Family now includes more than 70,000 people worldwide. "The growth has
been phenomenal," said Joseph A. Deihl, KareMor's Founder and CEO. "People
have seen the benefits of spray nutrients over traditional forms of
supplementation. We're the un-pill."
Working with a major southwestern university, Deihl developed the patented
Micro-liter(TM) oral delivery system in 1988. The all-natural formulas are
sprayed directly into the mouth, where they are absorbed through the lining of
the cheek. The nutrients bypass the intestinal tract and reach the bloodstream
within minutes. The absorption rate is almost nine times that found with
pills. "With spray nutrients, there's very little waste," adds Deihl.
Former "Mission: Impossible" star Peter Lupus discovered KareMor in 1993 and
found the products so appealing he became the official spokesperson for the
Vitamist(R) line. "I used to take a hundred pills a day," said Lupus. "Now I
just spray." Lupus celebrated his 65th birthday last year by lifting 75,480
lbs., in 30 minutes; setting the world's record.
KareMor currently produces 39 different spray nutrients, covering the entire
nutritional spectrum. The product line includes multivitamin sprays for adults
and children, herbal sprays with ingredients such as Ginkgo biloba and St.
John's wort, and specialty products with ingredients like glucosamine sulfate.
New products are constantly being researched. According to KareMor's Chief
Chemist, Clive Spray, Ph.D.: "We continually strive to develop products that
utilize the latest in nutritional research."
Recently, KareMor expanded their market considerably with the addition of 3
products designed to enhance the well being of pets. VitaCanine(TM)-- a
multivitamin for dogs, and VitaFeline(TM)-- a multivitamin for cats-- were
released in June, along with DogEase(TM)-- a special formula containing
ingredients proven to enhance bone and joint health. The pet supplements can
either be sprayed directly into the pet's mouth or onto their food.
KareMor's plans for the future include continued foreign expansion and healthy
new products. "There's quite a few people in the world that don't receive
adequate amounts of vitamins and minerals," said Deihl. "We're going to change
that."
