Howdy, from the mountains of New Mexico (USA):
=
If you have major bucks to spend, then I'd talk to some of your racing =
buds about a four or five speed in your vehicle. Yes, a person that =
uses only his hands to drive may drive a stadard. It's all done with =
electronics. On your steering wheel there are two extra rings =
installed, one for your clutch and other for your gears. I know your =
thinking these questions. 1. a gear selection light is installed on your =
dash that will tell you what gear your in, a tackometer will do the same =
thing. 2. Your right thumb is for the higher gears and your left thumb =
for the lower gears. 3. A toggle switch ( or whatever ) is mounted =
underneath the steering wheel where your index finger can set the =
brakes, power brakes. Another switch ( or whatever ) is mounted on the =
other side for gas. Both switches are mounted where the driver is =
comfortable with them. Back up switches are mounted somwhere close by, =
just in case. OK, maybe it's not for everybody. When I win the lottery =
I'll buy a standard and modify it, right. Modification and adaption are =
the words most used in this house.
