Not if you only hooked it up to the clutch. I re-looked at mine, and the
lever that hooks to the break could be attached to the clutch with no
modification, and all you need to do is push the hand control downward and
the
clutch will engage like the break does now on mine. No need to attach the
accelerator mechanism. The length of travel can alsop be adjusted rather
easily on the control arm as well. Short stroke or long stroke, depending on
your driving needs.

Now I'm getting confused.Pushing the brakes down wworks fine,but pushing
down on the clutch will disengage it. Engaging at a 1 to 1 ratio would mean
you would need at least 5 inches of travel and control of speed of engagement.
If she had the hand controls ,she could maybe clutch and gas with her right
foot and brake with hand control.
