Gunny, we received the band today. Thank you ever so much. Gunny,
Ronald can't push his legs down as your instructions say to do, because
he can't move his legs. We put the band on and then he held his foot up
for a while. Is that ok? Also how long andhow much should he exercise
each day? He goes to rehab 3x a week for 1 hour. He exercises at
home...lifts 40-45 lbs weights for his upper body strength. Pulls his
legs up - does exercises in bed in the mornings. Works out with the
pulley for his upper body. He has no movement in his legs at all other
than a slight wiggle of the toe. If he is on his stomach and his wife
lifts his leg he can hold it up for a while, a few seconds. Because he
has no feeling we hold a mirror up so he can see what he is doing.
Again, let me know about the exercising per day and do we need to do the
pushing down and lifting up his legs with the bands because he can't
move or what?
Thanks again.
Teri
