Hi Donna!
Welcome to the list - you will find a lot of help from this list - we've all learned, the hard way, to cope, endure and triumphant over our TM. We may have an illness, but it
doesn't have us!
You sound like you have your hands really full - when I was diagnosed with TM 13 yrs. ago my two boys were 16 & 7. The 16 yr. old handled my illness a lot better than my 7 yr.
old. (The 16 yr. old had a car, job and was headed for college, so he was much more independent.) The 7 yr. old had a tough time, he went from having his mommy involved in
every aspect of his life at school and church to having a mommy who could just barely take care of herself. He's really struggled but now at 21 is doing well - but we all went
through some really tough adolescent years!
Donna, how long ago were your diagnosed? What level is your injury? Are you mobile, with or without a chair? Do you home school your children? Do you have any help? Do you
drive? (Nothing like the third degree, huh?)
We may not have all the answers for you, but you can sure count on our support - there's a lot of love on this list that reaches out continually - you may not know it yet -
but you've just been group hugged! Keep holding on Donna & keep in touch - we need each other!
Living in the Son shine,
Claudia (Idaho)
