car. The van services here are a hassle, you have to call a week ahead
of time and if you don't get your call through right away wou may not be
able to go when you need to! I found that it was easier if I had to be
somewhere at a set time to go in the car. If I'm going somewhere that
it doesn't matter what time I go or come back then it's ok. And if they
are late...oh well is the attitude, but if you aren't ready and waiting
when they get there (which could be 1/2 hour early) they leave!
My only problem is that my boyfriend had a triple bypass last
year and a bypass on his legs this year (to increase circulation) so it
isn't easy for him to get my chair into the trunk. So I tend to limit
where we go unless I know that there is someone who can help unload me
and load me up again when we get through. So my contact with the
outside is limited at times. We are lucky that he found this car (87
T-Bird with electric seats, they recline and move forward and back and
u[ and down) he teases me that it's all my fault that he couldn't get
the little sportscar that he wanted. Joellen
