Hello Everyone,
I went back to the GP this morning and my GP was back early from vacation so
I saw him. Thanks goodness is all I can say. First off, He asked my about the
symptoms and thinks I am a tad anemic (sp) and that my sodium levels are out
of whack due to my anti-seizure meds. They are famous for doing that. Why I
didn't think of that, I have no clue. Probably because the TM symptoms are
more prominent right now. He asked about the neuro situation and I told him.
His words exactly were, "That's Bulls*&%$! You have 2 very serious problems
you are dealing with, and this has gone on long enough" What do you want me to
do? I let him know about my appointment with the "new" neuro in August and he
said he would have is secretary call and see if she can get it pushed up. He
asked me why I was not getting a response back from the old neuro and I said
because he is supposedly out of town. He asked me, "Permanently?" LOL! Point
taken.
Well, anyway, have bloodwork to be done on Monday, CBC, Sodium levels, and
Tegretol levels and White cells counts and a few others. He'll call me if
anything is up.
On to his NP. Told him what she said and lack of any testing. He said that
she was just covering for Pat, the regular NP as she was also on vacation.
Said not to justify her lack of treatment or what she said to me but that she
has probably never of TM before. He took me off of the Antibiotics and said no
infection that he can tell. Like I didn't know that already. I am sure she
will get reamed or not get asked to sub anymore.
He also asked me what I have been taking or what has been dxed me for pain.
When I told him nothing but Tylenol or Ibuprofen he couldn't believe it. So he
gave me a script for hydrocodone w/ Tylenol in it. Made me promise not to take
it all the time and said I should only take it at night, unless the pain is
intolerable during the day. Off to Wally-Mart for some of that stuff you all
have been talking about as this stuff says it can back you up. And if it can,
it will for me. LOL, that's my system, if it says it can, I can count on it.
Anyone taken this stuff before? If you have tell me how it was for you and if
you got real "loopy" from it.
Thanks for being there you all!
Maria, who plans on being "loopy" when that pillow calls on me tonight!
