This evening there was a link on the AOL news page (from abcnews.com)entitled
"Can Man Be Far Behind?" that talked about cloning in general and had a few
paragraphs specifically about spinal cells, how even bone cells could somehow
be reverted back to an embryonic state and raised as spinal cells and used in
people with spinal problems -- no problem with rejection since it came from
one's own cells. I was going to copy those paragraphs here, but at the end it
said it was copyrighted and could not be redistributed in any form.

This is my own thought, not intended to stir up another hornet's nest
(PLEASE!!): I'm not quite sure what I think of cloning in general...I tend to
lean away from thinking it is a right and good thing to do, but I can see and
support this application of it.

Hi Barbara,
The thought of human cell farming also crossed my mind. I thought about it
and forgot about it because it would expand wildly until "Divine
Intervention." Such as transplanting one's head upon a new body etc. When I
was even younger than now,I read a book about vivisection that still haunts me
to a small extent. I think it was named "The Island of Dr. Mooreau".
