Lots of us were hit somewhere in there. Rarely that much span.

Read the stories in the archives. Start with the list at
www.eskimo.com/~jlubin/disabled/tmic/archive/index.html
Otherwise you are asking for about 200 man-hours of typing and a lot of
redundant and unfair clutter in the forum.

Also print out Dr. Lynn's paper at
www.myelitis.org/tm.htm

Turnabout is fair play, Teri. Please tell us his story --- name, date of
first symptoms, rate of onset (minutes, hours, days, weeks?) from start
to end, rate and states of recovery, current mobility, age, anything out
of the ordinary that preceded the attack, treatment history, emotional
attitudes, etc. EMAIL it to tmic-list(AT)eskimo.com. (You can actually do
it as a REPLY TO ALL from this message, but I'd get two copies. That's a
nit, so don't worry about it.)

If you can, get him direct EMAIL access to us, even if it means buying
him a computer. If he is still in a hospital, that's a problem, but the
support is wonderful. If you are thinking of simply printing out the
daily traffic to take to him, be prepared for about thirty messages a
day! (Shucks, just reading the stories mentioned above will take about
50 hours.) However, although many of us had experiences similar to some
others, the number of unique stories is huge (maybe sixty or so).

Alton, who knows he will appreciate and benefit from this forum.
