Hey Karen.
I'm another Karen who is 42 and with TM. I was a twin and I was the sickly
one who often suffered high fevers and caught everything in sight. Perhaps I
was born with a weakened immune system that pre-dispositioned me to catch all
sorts of viruses, etc. many of which raise havoc with the immune system,
causing TM later at age 39
I still seem pretty susceptable to things, but being careful to see that I
stay rested, well nourished, and exercised- I've been able to remain well
enough to live normally with fewer infections than ever.
My heart goes out to you and your precious little one. It must be very trying.
