Let me start by saying I think posting news related to tm is a good
thing. I have never said I didn't wish to be informed of any findings
you or anyone else has found.
But I trade stocks daily and research companies regularly. During this
research I have to learn there products, market for, management,
financing, competition, and the the shenanigans that the market throws
at you on a day to day basses.
So let me discuss this company and it's product for just a minute. First
off the market took this bit of news and rewarded the company with a
lower price this morning. This mostly can be attributed to there being
in Phase I-II trials. Sense it's a 1 in a 100 chance a product gets
through Phase I announcing there still in phase I regardless that the
FDA allowed then to start preliminary Phase II is not that encouraging.
Also sense getting through Phase II is a 1 in 10 chance.
I would expect the price to trend 10 to 15% of where it is for the next
several weeks or until positive news comes from preliminary Phase II and
they formally inter into Phase II.
As it relates to being the first drug to enter clinical development of
auto immune diseases is in no way saying it will be successful. Or that
there are claims this relates to any other illness. Auto immune or other
wise.
Also there product [5G1.1] is based on a half century of established
research into Lupus and the pathology of same.
As I understand it they're trying to interfere with a pathology of the
development of Lupus in hopes of stopping it's progression or slowing
it. Or as the company states the "pathologic complement activity is a
key factor in the development of Lupus". By understanding Lupus
pathogenesis, this compound 5G1.1. is hoped to be of some therapeutic
benefit for those suffering from this autoimmune disease.
How any of this relates to TM, I haven't a clue?
