I do also. A cushion helps a lot. I have no way to
avoid it except to get up and walk a bit. On a long
car trip, we schedule potty stops every hour and solve
two problems at once.
I suggest you talk to your instructors. If you sit in
the rear, you should be able to stand from time to time
without disturbing the class. The other students will
soon get used to it.
Hmmmn. If you are wheelchair bound, perhaps you can
"stand" in a walker [from the chair] using brute force
arm power.

I, myself, dread bedtime, so I'm working on the problem.
Spasticity is the cause, so I started last week on a medical
solution. I take Diazepam (Vallium) in the evening and
Baclofen the next morning. I deliberately take minimal
doses, so I haven't yet seen much improvement. Baclofen,
especially, should be taken at barely sufficient doses.
I'm starting at 5 mg per day, and I will increase the
dose each week until I get to a level that works.
Talk to your doctor about this.
> ... I can no longer stand the pain. ...
Oops. I had assumed you referred to spasticity. Did you
instead refer to a full bladder? That problem does not
need a high tech solution.
