Hi Lynn-
Apparently, I had a grand mal seizure before being in the hospital and when
the neuro checked my reflexes and other normal functions, since nothing was
working, I guess he thought I was a gonner. My blood pressure went down
and my heartbeat was slowing also. Yep! I'm glad my hubby didn't want to
let me go. What's strange about my whole situation is that back then, he
was worried of losing me, but in the end, I was the one who lost him and
had no choice in the matter. God has plans for all of us and no one knows
what they are. We just have to do the best that we can at the moment.
Went to get x-rays of my esophagous today. Had Barium liquid for breakfast!
Yuck! Haven't heard yet as far as results - maybe tomorrow. Then
tomorrow I'll be going in at 12:30 for new MRIs of brain, c-and t-spine.
The last radiologist who took my spine was looking at my record and asked
if I had a "lifetime membership" with the hospital. LOL :-) I've had
MRIs of my brain so many times in the last 5 years that my head probably
glows in the dark by now. :-) It seemed that every Dec-Jan of each year,
I get these really bad headaches (similar to migraines). Over the counter
stuff doesn't work and some of the Rx too. That's why they had the MRIs
done. I wonder if these headaches has something to do with TM? Any
thoughts on this?
I'm rambling on again. Later.
