Hi,
Please help! Grandson age 15 has atm since Jan. 1998. He is paralysised from
the waist down. after 2 weeks he felt some small movements in his legs and
thighs. Little by little he was able to move his legs quite well. He has
therapy 3 times a week Walks with braces aand a walker or arm crutches.
Just the other week he with the help of the therapists was able to stand
without braces and take just a few steps holding the waker and of course with
the aid of his therapists. Life hasn,t been esay, though his attitude is
great. He needs more contact with similiar youths with disabilties which are
difficult to find. I thought after 6 months he would be walking better and
without the aidof his braces. Help! Does anyone have advice?
