My TB is in remission as you say it. I took TB meds for 21 months and the
doc told me that unless I get another cortizone shot or steroids of any
kind, I will be ok. The TB "virus" will always be in my system and
steroids are the ones that will bring it back up. I just hope that this TM
isn't going to be the culprit that will eventually bring it back. Probably
has nothing to do with each other, but it's just in the back of my head at
all times. When I had the TB, the docs basically told my husband to call
the priest and pull the plug. He refused both and the next day I woke up
from the coma. As my current family practitioner said, I'm "complicated".
Anyway, I don't even use any kind of cortizone creams or anything to do
with stuff that has cortizone in it or steroid stuff. I always tell all
the doctors I keep in contact with about this so they won't make a mistake.
