As a newbie, I'm not expert either, but it seems
this group exchanges EMAIL in transparent envelopes;
the mail is read by everyone. Anything you send to
"tmic-list(AT)eskimo.com" will be sent to every
subscriber, including the sender. For example, this
particular note will appear twice in your INBOX,
once because you are on the list and once because
you are explicitly an addressee. My welcome note to
you was seen only by you because I did not direct or
copy it to the list.
