My 10 year old daughter was with her friends on the evening of
October 26th, last year, at a Halloween-Birthday Costume Party. She
was dressed in a little red flapper dress. About halfway through the
party, where there was a 'spook house' and dancing, she was dancing,
and suddenly fell. Since that moment, she has never walked again.
She was finally diagnosed with a rare disease called transverse
myelitis. She is paralyzed now, from the waist down.
My story is long and interesting, believe it or not, as it is filled
with many bizarre coincidences and seridipitous occurances, and also
is an enlightening tale about the Catholic Archdiocese in New
Orleans, Louisiana.
I wish your show would expose this disease, which effects thousands
worldwide, and which is difficult to diagnose.
Thank you.
