hello, I`m new, well my husband is, hes still getting to grips with
computers. nineteen months ago, I developed an area of numbness and
tingling in my leg, this gradually spread over the next nine months, MRI`s
were taken and cat scans and lumbar punctures, in fact every test under the
sun. the diagonosis was probable ms, until i went to neurological hospital
in london, for a second opinion. they couldnt help me, in fact no one has
yet been able to, the closest diagnosis I have had, is inflamation of the
spinal cord. I am now wheelchair bound. everything from half way up my chest
is fine, but legs no good. I have an indwelling catheter, since last
november.I also have spactisity of the legs. in fact every symptom
mentioned, I have suffered from, I am so relieved to find other people, who
have gone through the same things as me. hoping to get the drs to understand
tm. as they dont seem to have any other diagonisis.some of you are so lucky
to have had a decent dr and nero, with quite a quick diagonosis. it gives
great comfort to read your newsletter. the next step is, how do we begin
recovery.
well thats enough waffleing on. thanks Gary and Jhyenan
