One odd thing with my eyes since TM has something to do with the way they
process light. We all see "spots before our eyes" after seeing a bright light,
but mine seem to do that more easily, more often, and the "spots" stay longer.
Very bright lights or a strong contrast in light or blinking/flashing lights
disturb me. Don't know whether it is directly related to TM, but it has
occurred since TM.

Early on with TM, I was seeing darkish grey spots in my peripheral vision. One
particular day it was really bothering me, and somehow I realized I was seeing
an eyelash in my peripheral vision that just happened to be poking out that
direction. I don't always wear mascara and I did have it on that day, thus the
dark spot. I don't know if that's what all the dark spots were all along (I
suspect so.) I felt a little foolish, but I pass the experience along to say
that sometimes symptoms that scare us do have logical non-tm related
explanations. I think we sometimes get so used to our bodies doing odd things
now that anything unusual can put us on alert and cause us to suspect
neurological causes. That's true for me, anyway.
