I like to write out a list of questions in the days before I see the dr. in
order not to forget all the things I wanted to ask about. Plus, when he sees
me with a list, it gives him an idea I have a lot of questions. If he doesn't
have time available just then to discuss everything, ask him if there is a
time he can call you or you can call him. A couple of times I've even written
out my questions and mailed them to the dr. One called me back promptly and
talked for a long time. The other never called me as I had asked in my letter,
but was always good to give me however much time I needed at his office, and
we discussed the things in my letter the next time I saw him.
