I've mentioned in that past that my oldest daughter, Kris, 27, was diagnosed
with Hodgkins Disease in March. It's been a very tough battle for
her.........radiation causing multiple problems, dehyration numerous times,
hospitalization and recently returned home with IVs and a feeding tube.
It has taken every bit of energy I was able to find to give her the attention
that has been necessary. Of course, I would do it again in a minute if
necessary and put aside any of my own pain that I must endure.
And, although she still must regain much of her strength and help her body
return to its normal state after losing 30 lbs. in less than 4 weeks, I'm
happy to say that the latest scans have been clear and she is now in
remission!!
As I joined a listserve for Hodgkins when she was diagnosed, my mail has been
overwhelming and I am just not able to keep up with it right now. For this
reason, I am going to say "so long" to you all.......hopefully for just a bit
so my life can return to some sort of normalcy.
God bless to you all!! I'll think of you often!
Linda
