Well....finally after a two-week wait the home health nurse came and I got
started on Avonex last night. I gave myself the shot, on the first try. It
was easy! After stressing out for weeks over this I was surprised how easy it
was. I really didn't feel it because I am numb all over. After the injection
I told the nurse "It's good to be numb!" LOL....
I feel okay. I had very mild chills about 3 a.m. and was slightly achy this
morning when I woke up. After Tylenol, that is gone. I feel very fortunate
because I know so many people have a hard time with side effects. I hope this
continues! I see the neurologist on Monday for the results of the spinal tap.
