Claudia, JanH here. My neuro told me that me temperature
control would likely never come back after my tm attack. My
legs (on the outside) feel freezing cold at all times while from
my paralysis (t8) level up I am always hot--sweaty but especially
in the summer. The least amount of exertion, i.e. run the swee-
per, and I am drenched from the breast up!!! The freezing does
not go away with clothing/blankets but it does feel better--the
hot doesn't get relief at all in the summer. I don't have this prob-
lem so much in the winter--but I do keep my house cooler than
most people!!! You can always add clothing if you're cold but
there's just so much that you can take off.......
It's been in the high 90's and promises of 100's the rest of the week.
I spend all my time inside when at all possible! I know I'm not the
only one to suffer this--I believe that SharonK form Texas has made
comment of this before. Hope that you can convince your family that
altho' you are special, this is just another side of tm that you are ex-
periencing. Good luck! Jan
