My 4 year old son who has had TM for 10 months, is just starting to
manage without nappies. Apart from the first 2 months he has been
able to empty his bladder himself, but seems now to be able to hold
it for a few seconds longer than before. At times when he is without
a nappy he seems to be having to go to the toilet extremely
frequently, say every 20 minutes or he might not go for quite a while
and then go 2 or 3 times in 10 minutes. Will his ability to hold it
improve with practice? Are there any techniques / ideas for making
sure his bladder has emptied properly? Should we encourage him to
drink more or less or keep it the same? Anything else that might
help?
