Dry skin

Have any of you tried using aloe vera - I mean the real plant itself for
dry skin? I've used it before and works great. Just a pain to have to
take the plant apart and put it on your skin. Be careful with the prickly
stuff though. I have eczema on my hands that flares up once in a while and
this seems to do the trick. My kids -especially my 5 year old boy - thinks
this is great. He says the slimy stuff is "cool". Says reminds him of the
stuff that comes out of your nose. :-)
