Take Good Care of Yourselves,

Hi Maria, Roger Pratt here. I had some problems with my neuro initially
not being able to see past my epilepsy to the tm symptoms. My tm episode
started with all night seizures. My neuro would just have me go to the ER
to get the seizures stopped. He about threw my wife out of his office
when we finally got in to him as she bluntly told him he wasn't taking
good care of me. When he finally looked at all my symptoms and had an MRI
he was quite apologetic. I think most doctors have big egos, but mine
came around when he knew the full story. Good luck in finding a neuro who
listens. I have to remind my neuro every once in a while to be humble and
listen to me (he was the one who told me that the patients really know
their bodies the best and that he should listen first and diagnos
second). This list has been great for me, as I'm the only tm'er that my
neuro is treating. Best of luck to you - Roger P :-)
