hello all, my name is vicki and i am a new tmer. was told i had ms four
years ago but now they are saying tm. i, of course, am in the dark.
after reading texas story, i am wondering if there is any correlation
between tm and eye pain? i, too, suffer from eye pain in my left eye,
sunlight bothers it, as well as movement. my husband, brian, says that
my right eye lid droops now. i suffer from alot of numbness, so i never
really notice things until they are extreme. it has been a real help,
hearing from all of you. vicki >>
Hi Vicki,
Sjogren's syndrome can occur with TM and begins to destroy certain glands.
One of the glands being a tear gland. If this is the case, itching and/or
burning of the eyes will occur along with the sensation of a foreign body
under the eyelid. I believe the condition is Keratoconjunctivitis sicca. Also
TM (stand alone) is capable of causing this condition. There are other
possibilities.
best regards,
Phil
