Alex, JanH here. I think that you have the symptoms
related to tm, i.e., the inability to urinate is early sign,
especially when you soon after could not walk without
holding onto the wall. Also the fact that the steroids
relieved your symptoms is indicative of tm. Steroids
are ineffective in other maladies such as Guilliane(sp?)
Barre which shares many of the same symptoms as
tm. The numbness can indicate other problems but
are also evident after a tm attack.
Did the drs suggest tm? or what did they say you had?
