Steroids

As a severe, life-long asthmatic I had been on a heavy dose
of oral corticosteroids for decades and inhaled steroids
for a few years. My doctor says my adrenal glands are
probably inactive.

I have long been aware that reducing the dosage warrants
caution. It may be a coincidence, but three days before my
TM attack I had reduced my oral prednisone 25%. I dunno.

For the TM’ers still on corticosteroids I recommend the
book, “Coping with Prednisone” by Zukerman & Ingelfinger.
