Hi Cherry!
I was amused by your repetitive postings - it's so nice to know someone else on the list who's "computer technology challenged"  besides just me.  I  must share my experience with you - I had put my name on a Spinal Cord Injury listing - and they have a ton more postings than we do and I found after joining the list that Bob in Houston relays the items that are of interest to our group from the SCI list so I've been trying for weeks now to get off their list and thought I'd finally done it when I opened my e-mail yesterday and had 126 messages  - their system had been jammed.  Also my computer was messing up and I couldn't receive or mail messages and I thought it had "crashed."  I had my son, who's "computer competent"  take a look at it - and all those SCI e-mails I thought I'd "deleted" just moved to my trash bin and there were over 3,000 messages in there - I need a dumpster, not a trash bin!  So he showed my how to "really delete" them and now my computer is working again.  (Still haven't gotten off the SCI list yet though - still trying!)
I'm sorry about your TM challenges - I have been told though - and let me know if I'm wrong friends, that USUALLY  the slower the onset of TM (like your 1 yr.) the better the prognosis for recovery.  The more rapid  the onset the more radical damage and less chance for recovery. (Alton's posting today blows that theory - so that's why I said "usually.")  Am I right gang?
My onset was a matter of hours with no prior illness, vaccination, numbness or anything - except stress.  I'm 13 years post and am paralyzed from T-5 down.  I have never regained bladder or bowel function or any feeling.  (The blessing with no feeling is - no pain from T-5 down).  However, I am totally independent, I load my own chair and drive with hand controls and am involved in more church and community projects than I usually have time for and am also the bookkeeper/office manager for my husband's business.  So what I'm trying to say is - you have had so much heartache in your short life - I hope and pray your TM never progresses any further, but if it does - there are always ways to cope, adapt, endure and live life with peace and joy in your heart.
