I am too in England, but I'm from Norfolk. I was very sorry to hear about
your son. It was at my 21st birthday party that I got ill, last year. And
I've still not actually had a diagnosis. The only consolation is young
children adapt to life changes much quicker and easier than adults. It's good
that he is now able to walk again too. I've never lost the ability to walk
completely, but have had alot of problems. As regards support in this
country, you might want to try the Guillian-Barre Foundation as they are the
only people, to my knowledge, who offer any support for TM sufferers. If you
hear of any other organisation, please let me know.
