Maria - I have never had to wait more than a few days for results. I
wouldn't yell and scream, but I would be an assertive pest. One of the
things that I learned with breast cancer is that the "good" patients
often don't do as well as the patients that are more assertive. We need
to be as informed as possible, which is one of the things that make this
group so great. I was the one who suggested Neurotin to my neuro - he
had not tried using it on a spinal injury patient before. He had no
trouble with prescribing it, and we both learned something. He is a good
neuro, but this is not his primary focus - if it was he would go broke.
Anyway, that's my two cents worth - put your Murphy Brown personna on,
and be a pesky broad. Just don't get emotional - it zaps your energy,
and reduces your effectiveness......Ann (who has learned to be a pest
from time to time)
